🎓💜 Congratulations to Our DCVPA Promoted Lions! 💜🎓
On June 11th, our halls were filled with celebration, pride, joy, and yes... a few happy tears as we honored our Kindergarten, 5th Grade, and 8th Grade students during their Promotion Ceremony.
To our students: Congratulations! Your hard work, growth, perseverance, and accomplishments have brought you to this special milestone. We are incredibly proud of each of you and cannot wait to see all that you achieve in the next chapter of your educational journey.
To our families: Thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and partnership. Your love, dedication, and belief in your children have helped make this moment possible. We are honored to be part of your family's story.
To our teachers and staff: Thank you for the countless hours, care, patience, and commitment you pour into our students each day. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, helping to shape confident, capable, and compassionate young people.
As we celebrate these milestones, we are reminded that every achievement is the result of a community coming together to support and uplift our scholars. Thank you for making this day so memorable.
Once a Lion, always a Lion. 🦁✨

What better way to end the school year than with a Staff v. Student basketball game?!
This game was full of hoops and hollers! The game was loud and the competition was fierce.
Staff pulled off a 29-7 victory, but both teams brought incredible effort, sportsmanship and school spirit!

In honor of teacher appreciation week, today was Super Hero Day where students and teachers dressed up as their favorite super hero.
Batwoman swooped into 3rd grade today, proving that not all heroes wear capes… some teach multiplication and reading too! From fighting crime to fighting wrong answers, she kept our students engaged, empowered, and ready to save the day… one lesson at a time!
Looks like Gotham isn’t the only place with superheroes… ours teaches 3rd grade!
Thanks, Ms Colette —- I mean, Batwoman, for saving the day once again.
