A little rain couldn’t stop us from having another fun field day with our 3rd-5th grade students🌧️💪👟🥏🏏

We had so much fun running, racing, jumping and playing with our kindergarteners, 1st graders and 2nd graders at field day today! We look forward to more fun tomorrow! 🫧🤸🏼‍♀️🏃🏿‍♂️🏅

We had an amazing time at Duke Energy Science Night at Rachel Freeman Elementary! Our school was filled with curiosity, creativity, and excitement as our young scientists explored, experimented, and discovered new things.

From hands-on activities to engaging experiments, it was incredible to see our students so eager to learn and think like scientists. Nights like this remind us how powerful curiosity and imagination can be!

A big thank you to our families for coming out to support your students and for being such an important part of our school community. We loved having you there and hope you had just as much fun as we did! 🔬✨

Free summer meals are back 🍎

New Hanover County Schools is offering SUN Meals To-Go, providing weekly meal packs for kids and teens 18 and under--no income or school enrollment required.

Each pack includes 5 days of breakfast + lunch to help families stay fueled all summer long. 💪
