The center boasts 342,000 square feet of space housing an indoor training area, almost 200 pieces of heavy equipment, 30 classrooms, construction material testing lab, state of the art welding facility, equipment simulator lab, a 200-seat auditorium, and much more. Instructors are available to members six days a week, Monday through Saturday, except holidays. The indoor training arena is large eno

Today at the Training Center, students from visiting schools had the chance to learn what the apprenticeship experience is all about. As part of National Apprenticeship Week, they heard directly from Jeff Horne, Vice President, and Apprentices Alyssa Steele, Casandra Veldhuizen, and Operator Tracy Meyer as they shared their journeys and insights. Students also toured the Training Center and watched apprentices demonstrate their skills in both a forklift competition and a welding competition.

Congratulations to all the finalists who competed!

A special shoutout to Mark Metzner, a 4th year apprentice, for taking first place in the forklift competition, and congratulations to Dominic Nall, a 1st year apprentice, for taking first place in the welding competition.
