Hi all! If you didn't see the email from Allie, please be aware of upcoming elections for the SSW GSA!

Positions as follows:
President – oversees the board, sends out reminder emails about meetings and events
Vice President – plans social and service events for the year
Treasurer – submits travel grants and reimbursements
Secretary – keeps track of attendance at meetings and events and takes notes during meetings
Social Media – posts on and updates all social media (Facebook and Instagram)

Hey All! The holidays are quickly approaching, as is the end of the semester. We wanted to have one more social event, so please join us this Friday, 11/22, 7pm at Wilmington Brewing Company for a celebration. A portion of the proceeds for certain beers will be going to the Wilmington Branch of the Food bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.

Hey Grad students! Yesterday the GSA placed a box in McNeil *3019 for a clothing drive for DC Virgo Students. Please consider donating if you have some gently used clothing you don't wear or need. DC Virgo students do have a dress code, we won't be able to donate jeans, graphic tees, sweatshirts or similar types, but they can wear sweaters, polos, button-up shirts and slacks and may be in need of jackets, hats, mittens and gloves as it gets colder.

Thanks to all the awesome Grads that came out for our pumpkin painting event on Friday! Our next event is 11/22, event details will be posted soon.
