I know I’ve been personally silent in regard to my hometown, I still can’t wrap my head around the pictures and destruction in that area. Although I have reposted and shared many posts from people I went to school with in the hopes that I can help in some way to spread the word.
I know there are so many churches and organizations that are collecting items that are desperately needed at this time. These areas have a long road ahead.

A girl I’ve know since we were 3 years old posted this a few hours ago, her husband has been working tirelessly to help. If you live in the Wilmington and can donate any of these items please let me know via text or private message.

‼️Specific Needs‼️
Steven spoke with an organizer at Nesbitt Chapel in Fairview directly before he left tonight as they have set up in their small fellowship hall a shelter for displaced families we will deliver these items ourselves directly throughout the week as the Garren Creek Flat Creek Craig Town Old Fort Rd community is considered ground zero by the first responders working in this area for the destruction on this side of Buncombe County. These families are displaced in an area that is very remote ATV 4x4 access homeless with no transportation to get out to free resources. Colder nights are ahead. Food & water needs are being air dropped to them but so many more items are needed!
