Great turnout today for the fundraiser put on by Ambassador !!! Thank you to all the JJI family and visitors that came out to show your support for our veterans this Memorial Day Weekend!

Shoutout to for bringing home the Ring in the Adult Gi Absolute over 160 division Wilmington Spring Championship!!!

Congrats to all our competitors! The JJI comp team had a great time Saturday at the Spring Championship here in Wilmington with 17 competitors fighting across 24 divisions ultimately bringing home a total of 22 medals and A RING! Here’s some highlights from Saturdays tournament. Special thanks to all the coaches that came out to help and to all the parents for supporting the kids and making the event a huge success! On to the next!

When drilling the techniques you just learned in class, take your time and try to do everything as perfect and technically correct as possible. It doesn’t matter how slowly you have to go. Speed comes in time after many slow repetitions. Drilling your technique incorrectly fast will only make your Jiujitsu worse faster.

Starting this week, for those of you in the fundamentals class Professor Gil will be teaching how to escape some bad positions. In the advanced class we will be starting our spider guard study with coach Brett.
