Congratulations Michelle Catts, Sr. Vice President of Nuclear Programs for GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy, on being a finalist in the BUSINESS category for the 2021 Women To Watch Awards!

Many of the class of '98 have been working non-stop clean up after "Flo", either at their own homes, for family, for friends or even neighbors and strangers. Some have been working through the storm for first responders, some at our grocery stores, some volunteering and in many other quiet, thankless ways. We know these storms, we grew up with this, but it's different when we're the adults and it's much, much harder. So, let's take a moment, as the lights begin to come on across the city, to say our thanks to each other.

Lucky us, Wilmington Riverfest is happening the same weekend as the reunion! And, being at the convention center on Saturday evening, we should have front row seats to the fireworks!

Who's picked out their outfit for the reunion?! Extra points for rocking a pastel 90s babydoll dress and choker! Just don't forget to get your tickets!

The class reunion group has a payment link up now! Our organizers write, "Class of 98 reunion participants we are approaching the time where we need to get final head count as well as finances from those that plan on attending. Money has been given to the venue but since we have no definitive headcount or money from people that are supposed to be in attendance we have to move these due dates up to avoid losing the venue. Money that has been put in so far was just to secure the venue and the September 1st due date was to give everyone adequate time but we expected the ball to be rolling a little better based on the conversations that were had on this page. We need the numbers of ones for sure coming and who you are bringing with you then we need the payments sent to the link Xiquena provided by August 6th. Payments received after will still be accepted but just know the price may go up $10.00 per ticket. All funds received are going towards the cost of the venue, food, DJ, and bowling. Thank You All!"
