🌟 Faculty Focus: Ms. Sarah Mason & Ms. Sarah DiLauri 🌟

Ms. Sarah Mason has been teaching our youngest students for over 15 year. She brings so much joy, creativity, and fun—not to mention her wonderful British accent!

Ms. Sarah DiLauri is a preschool teacher at MGCS and has been teaching our Young Division at WCFA for 4 years!

We can't wait to have everyone back in the studios on August 20th.

What an amazing Week 2 Intensive! 🩰

These dancers worked so hard—training in ballet, pointe/variations, and PBT each morning, followed by jazz, modern, contemporary, dance history, healthy dancer mindset, and Rockette precision.

They wrapped up the week with WCFA 2026/27 auditions—congratulations, dancers! It has been such a joy to watch you grow. ✨

Victoria Bartels will be teaching our Jr Acro, while Emilee Machowski will be teaching our Sr Acro! 🤸

NEW Hip Hop Classes at WCFA🔥

We're excited to offer Jr & Sr Hip Hop this fall with Lily Hemingway!

Jr Hip Hop | Ages 8–11, Wednesdays | 3:30–4:15 PM

Sr Hip Hop | Ages 12–18, Wednesdays | 4:45–5:30 PM

These classes will focus on hip hop fundamentals, rhythm, musicality in a fun, high energy setting. It's a great option for dancers, siblings, or friends who want to try hip hop, train in a different style, or just take an additional class.

Lily has trained through workshops and intensives including UNC School of the Arts, Commercial Dance Intensive, and American Dance Festival. She has worked with renowned choreographers, graduated from Shenandoah University with a degree in dance, and former WCFA student, Lily is excited to return to the studio and give back to the community that helped shape her as a dancer and artist.

Great news! We've opened another Level 1 class for ages 5–6 on Fridays from 5:15–6:30pm for the 2026 Fall semester - starting August 20th.

This class is perfect for young dancers ready to build a strong foundation in ballet, tap, and creative movement while developing confidence, coordination, musicality, and a love for dance in a fun and encouraging environment.

✨ Week 2 of our Summer Dance Intensive starts July 27th✨

We are excited to welcome an incredible lineup of guest faculty, including (UNSCA Ballet Faculty) Dayna Fox, (Former Radio City Rockette Dance Captain) Cheryl Cutlip, and (Former Professor of Dance at TCU) Sarah Matzke, alongside Holland Putney, Haley Bolton, Molly Quittschreiber, Heather Wells, Victoria Bartels, Savannah Schoenborn, Madeleine Ramsey, and Mirielle Azzopardi.

Dancers will spend the week immersed in ballet, pointe/pre-pointe, contemporary, modern, jazz, PBT, Rockette Precision, variations, dance history, anatomy, and a Healthy Dancer Mindset Workshop. The week will conclude with our 2026–2027 Level Placement & Nutcracker Auditions, providing dancers with valuable audition experience in a supportive and encouraging environment.
