On Wednesday, February 4th, 2015 at 9 p.m. in the Amphitheater, a Candlelight Vigil will be held for the late Douglas Perez. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects.

Shout out to last night's judges and performers at ! It was an especially night for welcoming Brad Reid to his last year in the judge's chair! Congratulations to everyone involved in the amazing production!

ATTENTION: lease-based Village, Landing or Crossing (2&4) residents! You can move anywhere in lease-based Village, Landing or Crossing (2&4). If you’re living in academic year Crossing (1&3) you can move anywhere in academic year Crossing (1&3). You can pull in roommates—just not newly entering freshmen or newly admitted transfer students. Sign up times are listed below and based on class level! If you have any questions about the sign up process, feel free to visit us in the Housing Office, and we will be happy to assist you!

UNCW Police will be removing bicycles in the academic and residential areas July 27 through July 29, 2015. Bicycles are removed annually to ensure there is ample space for current students and their bicycles, to avoid hazards resulting from broken bikes, and to keep the campus attractive to prospective students and guests.

In the academic area, bicycles that are damaged or missing parts will be removed. Bicycles located in Seahawk Village, Seahawk Landing, and Seahawk Crossing will be picked up if they are damaged or missing parts. In all other residential areas, all bicycles, regardless of condition, will be removed unless the owner has made prior arrangements with University Police.

If you do not wish your bicycle to be removed, you can obtain identification devices to be placed on your bike at the UNCW Police Department Front Desk.

Under North Carolina law, unclaimed bicycles are donated to a 501(c)(3) charitable organization after a designated waiting period. Please contact Sergeant Keli Kotler at ext. 22222 or [email protected] if you have any questions.
