Congratulations to the Colburn family! They picked up their new car today. Thanks to Martin Honda and Mr. Pijuan for working with us. And a huge thank you to all of you for supporting The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation!

As everyone knows, due to COVID-19, Charterthon was cancelled this year. Ticket sales to Charterthon make up a good portion of our total donation. So, since we had a little extra time on our hands, we started to brainstorm. What could we do to make up this difference? And boy, did we find an answer.

Thanks to Martin Honda, we are raffling off a car! A 2020 Honda Civic LX- picture below is a likeness, not actual car. We will be selling only 500 tickets at $100/each until April 30th. Drawing will be held May 1st, most likely as a Facebook live video due to current restrictions.

Checks should be made out to the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation and mailed to 2806 Mill Creek Road Wilmington DE 19808. Venmo payments are available as well at .

Please email [email protected] and include your name, phone number, number of tickets purchased and method of payment. You can also email any questions you have.

Please share this post and let’s sell all 500 tickets. You do not need to be a CSW family to participate! Thank you for your support. As always, we do it for the kids! Stay well.

UPDATE: After the raffle ends, if you go to Martin Honda and work with Mr. Pijuan, you will be given a $100 discount on a car for every ticket you purchased.

Dear CSW Community,

On behalf of Jefferson Council and The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, we thank you for your commitment to Charterthon and the fight against childhood cancer. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus outbreak, Charterthon 2020 on March 20 has been postponed. Given the uncertainty of the weeks ahead, Jefferson Council has decided not to pursue another date for our all-night dance marathon. While this was an extremely difficult decision to make, the timing was simply not in our favor.

Over the school year, we have watched members of the Charter community and beyond come together to raise money and spread awareness for childhood cancer. Though we are not able to hold the dance this year, we are committed to continuing our fundraising efforts for The B+ Foundation and the children and families battling childhood cancer. For the remainder of the year, we will continue to promote our 2020 campaign by turning to online fundraising. In the next few weeks, you can expect to receive information concerning an online auction and other important fundraisers. Regarding the purchase of Charterthon tickets, Jefferson Council gave all of our funds directly to The B+ Foundation before the cancellation of the event. If you would like to be reimbursed for your ticket purchase, we understand and are happy to provide you with the organization’s information:
