What an amazing trip! The students were great. Mrs. Buzby created an wonderful experience for them. The kids enjoyed practicing their Spanish. (Especially when ordering food!). They definitely got to experience the Spanish culture, but we are all happy to be back in the US.

Mrs. Buzby on hall duty.
Hello again! The wifi in our new hotel in Seville is working well tonight so while sitting on hall duty, I thought I would send one more update. The kids are in their rooms and both Ms Bonham and I are on "night watch" along with two other French chaperones from another group. It is almost 1am here and we have a 6:45 wake up call in the morning to head into the center of Seville for our city visit. Seville is a beautiful city rich in Spanish culture and history. It is "true Spain" as the kids have announced over and over again. Our optional excursion tonight to the Tabla de Flamenco was a huge success! The kids loved the dancers!
We hope you are enjoying these posts keeping track of our travels. We are halfway though the trip at this point and all is good. More tomorrow! Good night.
Greetings from the south of Spain!
We had a very educational and interesting tour of the Alhambra this morning and then said goodbye to Granada to head off to Seville. During the entire tour which lasted almost 3 hours the kids were unbelievably engaged with the guide and all that he was telling them about the history and culture of the old moorish palace. It was absolutely beautiful and I think the kids were really surprised and very impressed with such a structure. I am sure they can not wait to show you their pictures! It's very interesting to hear their conversations among themselves and their interactions with the guides. We are very proud of them. Of course they have their moments when we are reminded of the true teenagers they are!! Through it all we haven't lost anyone, haven't been pick pocketed (knock on wood!) and have been pretty healthy throughout the tour so far.
We should be arriving to Seville shortly for our overnight stay. When we arrive we will have some free time to shop and then we will have dinner at our hotel, change and head out to the Flamenco dance optional which I know the kids are looking forward to. We have managed to keep them away from the local night life but know that is something they want to experience so we, the chaperones are trying to get ourselves psyched up for that event!!
Please know that we are well, having a fantastic time and learning many things.
Hasta pronto!

Greetings from Granada!!!
We had a great tour of Toledo today and although the wreathed was awful we were able to enjoy the day. We learned a lot of interesting y
Things and the beat part is that they are using their Spanish to navigate through each city! I think they've eaten enough ice cream for an army and have enjoyed every single bola (scoop). This evening after dinner I took the kids to a teteria which is a tea shop of moorish influence they got to try infused teas. Tomorrow we have a tour of the city of Granada and the impressive moorish palace called the Alhambra. We will then say goodbye to Granada and hello to our next stop which is Seville, home of Flamenco which is traditional gypsy dancing.
