Our Sea Squirts and Sea Safari students have had a blast this week! 🌊

They’ve had the opportunity to learn about the fouling community at the Wrightsville Beach docks, explore the marsh, identify bird species at the beach, participate in a boat float activity, and so much more! 🐟

Our Week 2 Ocean Lab students got to experience hands-on learning through dissecting sea urchins and blue crabs! 🦀

Our Week 1 Leaders in Ocean Science students took a kayak trip to Smith Creek! 🚣

The group had the opportunity to observe lots of wildlife, learn about the salinity in the creek, and engagged with their neighbors as they played games while exploring! ✨

We have had a blast this week at MarineQuest! Week 1 has been an amazing start to the summer! 🦀🪸

Our Week 1 Turtle Trek group visited the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center in Topsail yesterday! 🐢

They loved learning all about the different types of sea turtles, each of their unique stories, and how they can make a difference. 🌊🪸

Our staff have had a blast this week preparing for our students to arrive! We are excited for you to meet this great group! ☀️
