This spring, Tower Hill Baseball’s Class of 2026 captains, Ryan Coyne ’26, Dean Holt ’26, Alex “Huddy” Hudson ’26, Elam Muscelli ’26 and Trey Truesdell ’26, helped lead the team to the DIAA state tournament. But their greatest impact may not be measured in wins and losses on the field.

These student-athletes prepare meals for community organizations and volunteer with the Naamans Little League Challenger Division, serving as buddies and helping players with disabilities experience the joy of the game.

At Tower Hill, athletics are about more than competition. They are about building relationships, discovering purpose and becoming a different kind of leader the world needs more of.

How do you help children grow into people who choose to make a difference? At Tower Hill, the answer isn't a graduation requirement. It's a culture.

This year, our students voluntarily contributed 93 hours of service to over 20 community organizations through Tower Hill curated initiatives. We're proud to be recognized by Lutheran Community Services (LCS) for our record-breaking year in the annual Hiller Harvest Thanksgiving drive, having donated 6,024 items collected across all three divisions. But we're even prouder of the students who choose to lead with purpose every day and extend their community service to opportunities beyond those created by Tower Hill.

This summer, partnered with The Amazing Corner to bring the joy of reading directly to our students through a special book fair filled with diverse, engaging stories where every student picked a book that interested them.

By expanding access to books that reflect a wide range of experiences and perspectives, students had the opportunity to discover stories that sparked curiosity, built confidence, and inspired a lifelong love of reading. We are grateful to The Amazing Corner for helping create an experience that celebrates literacy, representation, and the power of every child seeing themselves in a book.

With the right opportunities and coaching, every child has the potential to lead.

At Tower Hill, students are encouraged to take initiative from their earliest years. One student may serve as Lower School Head for the Day, another may start a newspaper club in Middle School and a third could continue developing their leadership through the Tower Hill Summer Institute.

When students are trusted with meaningful opportunities, they gain more than leadership experience; they develop confidence, discover their voice and learn that their ideas can make a difference.

That's how leadership grows: one opportunity, one idea and one student at a time.

A championship is a moment. A team is built over time.

When the final whistle sounded and Tower Hill football secured the DISC Championship, the celebration was filled with joy, pride and a few tears. For senior captain Henry Gardner '26, the emotion reflected more than the outcome of one game. It represented years of commitment, countless practices, teammates who became friends and a community that showed up every step of the way.

From senior leaders guiding the team, to younger players finding their place, to future Hillers cheering from the sidelines, every member of the program contributed to the story. At Tower Hill, athletics are about more than competition. They are about belonging, purpose and being part of something bigger than yourself.

Congratulations to Charlotte Vanni '27 on being named an All-American lacrosse player.

This summer, Charlotte coached the next generation of players at Tower Hill's summer camps, including the Lower School Girls Lacrosse Camp. For our young athletes, it was an opportunity to learn from someone who has reached the highest levels of the game while balancing the demands of a rigorous academic program. It's an example of what's possible when talent is nurtured by a community that encourages students to pursue excellence in the classroom, on the field and in life.

Chosen by his classmates to deliver the Baccalaureate address, Amal Bhattacharya ’26 reflected on the moments—both big and small—that make a Tower Hill education unforgettable.

From everyday walks between classes to conversations with friends and traditions shared across campus, Amal reminded us that the moments that shape us are often the ones we don't fully appreciate until we look back.

As the Class of 2026 begins its next chapter, they carry with them more than memories—they carry the friendships, experiences and sense of purpose that will continue to guide them wherever they go.

Summer is more than a break from school—it's a chance for children to discover new passions, build confidence and create lasting friendships. ☀️💚

This week at , campers embraced every opportunity to explore. They experimented with slime and chemical reactions, designed inventions, showcased their creativity at a Science Fair, stayed active on the courts and fields, and expressed themselves through art, baking and imaginative play.

Whether trying something for the very first time or building on an existing interest, each experience was designed to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving and help every child grow in confidence.

At Tower Hill, we believe children thrive when they're encouraged to explore, supported by caring educators and surrounded by a community that celebrates joyful discovery. We can't wait to see what adventures next week brings!

Week two of Horizons Tower Hill students explored their creativity through art and music, built language skills in Spanish, cooled off in the pool and learned about healthy habits from special visitors from Nemours. One of the week's biggest highlights was a visit from the incredible therapy dogs of Paws for People.

At Horizons Tower Hill, social-emotional learning is woven into every day. Our furry visitors helped students practice keeping calm bodies, building confidence and connecting with others, all while bringing comfort, encouragement and lots of tail wags.
