St. Ann School

4th grade spent the year learning all about the United States and the different regions in Social Studies Class! They wrapped up the year with a States Project - each student got assigned a state to explore and became an expert on it’s history, geography, symbols, landmarks and more! 🇺🇸

Kindergarten had a great time visiting the DSWA Environmental Education Center! Students enjoyed learning about recycling and caring for the environment through fun, hands-on activities. The facilities were beautiful and fun to explore, making learning even more exciting. It was an educational and engaging field trip, and our students had a wonderful time!

Our 5th graders had a sweet time in science class with Miss Crowley! 🍦 Students explored the concepts of freezing point and freezing point depression by making homemade ice cream. Through this hands on experiment, they learned how salt lowers the freezing point of ice, allowing the cream mixture to freeze into a delicious treat. Science never tasted so good!

Today, our school community dressed to impress and gathered outside for one of St. Ann’s cherished traditions, the 8th Grade Walkout Ceremony.

Students, staff and families came together to celebrate and pray over the Class of 2026 as they completed their final day of classes at St. Ann. The graduates ran down the ramp to cheers and applause from the entire school.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are proud of all you have accomplished and look forward to celebrating you again at graduation tonight. 🎓💙

The 8th grade class had a great day in Washington, D.C.! Students toured the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, toured several monuments, and enjoyed a walking tour led by Principal Casey. They also explored the National Museum of American History before ending the day with dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe.

The day even included a couple of unexpected highlights, running into Mrs. Spiers and Father Gebhart along the way! It was a fun day of learning, sightseeing, and spending time together as a class.

Our 8th graders faced off against their teachers and parents in some friendly volleyball competition. After lots of laughs, great plays, and plenty of celebrating, the students came out on top! Congratulations to our 8th graders on a well-earned victory!

First State FC, AKA the Midnight Riders, is a semi-professional soccer team based in Delaware that competes in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), considered the fourth division of U.S. soccer. Founded in 2019, the team plays at Rocco Abessinio Stadium in Wilmington and represents the Delaware soccer community, often sourcing talent from local and international players.

Our Scripture and Snacks Club students have been hard at work over the past few weeks diving into Scripture, finding meaningful Bible verses, and creating beautiful artwork inspired by God’s word. We are so proud of their creativity, thoughtfulness, and dedication during our after school club time. They did a wonderful job, and their projects truly reflect the joy and inspiration they found in Scripture!
