Still reflecting on the incredible experience of being part of @brilliantmindssthlm in Stockholm. ✨ Over the past few days, I had the privilege of sharing my story, connecting with inspiring leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers from around the world, and engaging in conversations about creativity, representation, resilience, and the power of storytelling. What stayed with me most was the reminder that our journeys no matter how different have the power to inspire, challenge perspectives, and create space for others to dream bigger. From a young girl in Rio de Janeiro painting her ballet shoes to standing on a stage in Sweden sharing my experiences, I am deeply grateful for every person, opportunity, and community that has helped shape this path. Thank you to @annastasia.s and the Brilliant Minds team for creating such a meaningful space for dialogue, connection, and imagination. Our beloved friend and collaborator Ingrid Silva's Intersections of Life will be performed in New York City's Bryant Park tonight.

Intersections of Life Choreography by @ingridsilva Music by @leandroalbuquerquecomposer Rehearsal Director @daphne732 Dancers @ariana.dck @thierryblannchard @vini_fr @amarsmalls @joshnponton and Eunhye Darbouze. DETAILS Intersections of Life was choreographed for Chattanooga Ballet’s 50th anniversary. Choreographer Ingrid Silva was inspired by how we interact with each other in our lives. The classical music set to an original score by Brazilian composer Leandro Albuquerque, makes the movement feel effortless and powerful, like waves. Founded as the Academy of the Dance in 1956 by Madame Helene Antonova (Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo) and James Jamieson (associate of legendary choreographer Agnes de Mille), the academy brought world-class, career-focused dance education straight to Wilmington.

In 1981, alum Victor Wesley founded The Wilmington Ballet as the school's professional performing arm, cementing its place in Delaware history.
