We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and faith-filled commitment of all our teachers. Today, we’re proud to give special recognition to two outstanding educators who have made a lasting impact on our school community:

👏 Mrs. Dougherty – Our longest-tenured teacher at SMM, Mrs. Dougherty has devoted an incredible 36 years to our students and school. From her years in the classroom to the many programs she has helped create, her influence is felt each and every day!

👏 Mr. Szaroleta – With an inspiring 50 years dedicated to Catholic education, Mr. Szaroleta continues to make a difference through his passion for teaching. He credits his longevity to his students’ eagerness to learn and the strong, structured foundation of Catholic schools.

Today’s Tag Day supported an important cause, Water is Life Kenya! Thanks to the generosity of our students, we raised $444 to help provide access to clean water.

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to a group of our second graders who hosted a lemonade stand this weekend, raising $91 to donate to the same cause.

We are so proud of our students for their kindness, initiative, and commitment to helping others!
