This Labor Day, a song with real history behind it. 🎶

"Which Side Are You On?" was written in 1931 by Florence Reece, whose husband was a coal miner caught up in the violent labor struggles of Harlan County, Kentucky. Our students arranged this performance themselves — percussion and all.

Proud of what they built, and proud of the history they're carrying forward. Here at WCC, we're always on the side of the people. 🎶

Your audition (depending on age/experience) may include:

🎵 Pitch matching
🗣️ Vocal warmups
🎤 Singing a simple song
🎼 Prepared music reading (more advanced singers only)

Tips to prepare:
✅ Practice files and audio tracks are on our website — use them!
✅ Warm up your voice an hour or so before your audition
✅ Get a good night's sleep beforehand
✅ Take a deep breath before you start — nerves are normal, even for the pros!
✅ Remember: we're not looking for perfect, we're looking for YOU
