At Island Montessori, children learn in multi-age classrooms where they grow alongside the same community of peers over several years. Dr. Maria Montessori observed that children naturally learn from one another. youngers students are inspired by older classmates, while older students build confidence by leading and mentoring.

Because every child develops at their own pace, teachers can meet each student where they are. Some children need more time to master a skill, while others are ready for the next challenge. This approach gives every child the time, support, and confidence to thrive.
