💛🖤 How lucky are we to have teachers and staff who choose to make Padua their professional home for years - and even decades!

Recently, Padua’s faculty and staff joined educators from across the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington for Spirituality Day, a time for spiritual reflection and professional development. The day also included recognition of diocesan faculty and staff anniversaries.

We are so grateful for the lasting commitment, care, and impact these educators have shared with generations of Padua students. Congratulations to our Padua honorees!

The first week of school ended with our Big Sister Little Sister Meet & Greet! 💛🐼✨ Our Bigs and Littles had the chance to connect, laugh, and start building the sisterhood that will grow throughout the year. 🤝

Through our BSLS program, freshmen are paired with seniors who serve as mentors, role models, and friends as they find their place in the Padua community. 🖤💛

We are so excited to have our students back together! From our newest members of the Class of 2030 to our seniors, we’re ready for another year of learning, growth, and sisterhood. 🖤💛

And what better way to welcome our freshmen into the Padua family than with one of our favorite traditions? Our Big Sisters filled the 1st floor hallway with love and creativity, decorating lockers with style, candy, heartfelt notes, and plenty of Panda pride for their Little Sisters to discover!

Our juniors and seniors are back on Broom Street! 🐼💛🖤

Today, our upperclassmen returned to campus for orientation, reconnecting with friends, preparing for the year ahead, and getting ready for another exciting year at Padua Academy.

As leaders of our school community, our juniors and seniors help set the tone for the year ahead through their confidence, spirit, and commitment to the Padua sisterhood.

The Class of 2030 held their first Padua retreat at Sandy Hill Camp last Friday, spending the day building connections, strengthening teamwork, and growing in sisterhood! 💛🖤🐼

Students were divided into groups and rotated between two meaningful experiences. One part of the day featured ropes courses and team-building challenges, where every activity required everyone to participate, communicate, encourage one another, and work together toward a shared goal.

The other part was a special retreat led by Mrs. Duppel and our Peer Leaders, giving students time to reflect, connect, and grow together as they begin their Padua experience.

A special thank you to Mrs. Giaquinto for planning the day, Mrs. Duppel for leading the retreat, and to our faculty, staff, and volunteers for making it such a memorable experience for the Class of 2030!

Our student leaders are beginning the year with purpose! 🖤💛🐼

Peer Leader Training, held earlier this month, began at St. Anthony’s with Mass, dinner, and meaningful conversations about discovering their “why,” growing as leaders, and building a strong culture of sisterhood.

Inspired by the charisms of our patron, St. Francis de Sales, our students are setting intentions and striving to live Jesus ✝️ - humbly, kindly, and gently - as leaders in our Padua community.

The first day of Freshman Orientation ended with one of Padua’s most special traditions: the Big Sister Little Sister Reveal! 💛🐼🖤

Our senior volunteers met their new Little Sisters, and each Big Sister Little Sister pair captured the moment with a photo together as they officially began a new chapter of Padua sisterhood.

For our freshmen, having a Big Sister means having a senior ready to welcome them, encourage them, answer questions, and help them navigate their Padua journey.

Here’s to new friendships, lasting memories, and the special bonds that make the Padua sisterhood so strong!
