Congratulations to junior Aiden McAfee, senior Ryley Clark, and sophomore Natalen Hardy from Mrs. Zerbe’s Creative Writing class, who swept first, second, and third place, respectively, in the statewide Human and Civil Rights Writing Contest, sponsored by the Delaware State Education Association (DSEA). Students wrote about a person or group that has made an outstanding impact on civil rights, and they will receive monetary awards ($200, $100, and $50) for their winning writing pieces. This is the twenty-eighth year that students in Mrs. Zerbe’s classes at Dickinson have received major awards in this writing contest. Congratulations to Aiden, Ryley, and Natalen on their statewide writing awards!
