I received this email from the class of 71. They ae planning the annual picnic and have invited our class to join them. Let me know if you wish to participate.

Hey Gang,
We sure missed you if you were unable to meet with us last month at Blackbird Bakery. We had about 10 to attend the get-together. We have made a few decisions for the class and want to let you know what we talked about.
First, we decided to get together the 1st Tuesday of EVERY month instead of every other month. The next meeting will be June 4 at 5:00 at Blackbird Bakery. This seems to work well for everyone. Plus, the more we repeat things, the better we can remember!!
We also discussed the annual joint picnic held at Waldo Miles with the classes of ’69, ’70, and ’71. The class of ’69 will be celebrating their 55th class reunion this year and will not be participating in the picnic with us. Since they were responsible for getting the picnic together, we decided to take the reins and plan it. Both Waldo Miles and Steel Creek Park were booked on Saturdays through November so, we have booked the lodge at Steel Creek for Friday, August 16, 2024, from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm. We would like to invite the class of ’72 also this year. If you have contact information for anyone in this class just let us know so we can include them.
We will need an RSVP for the annual picnic so we can properly plan for the food. Please send contact information and RSVPs to Tommy Minor (276-361-5064) or David Halstead (423-534-9313).
