On the R/V Cape Hatteras the seniors spent time understanding more of the water column through deployment of a variety of gear, like this CTD!

This week we sent off our seniors on the last student training cruise of the fall semester! This cruise is focusing on hydrographic survey, sediment and water analysis ~ all crucial aspects to industry training!

Some really nice specimens from some inshore dredges completed earlier today! The ship has transited further offshore towards Frying Pan Tower which will give the students the opportunity to see some different species this evening.
