Join us on Thursday, August 20 for our College Park Open House! We can’t wait to welcome our students and families for a fun opportunity to meet teachers, explore classrooms, and get ready for an amazing school year.
🕘 Kindergarten & TK: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
🕒 SDA: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
🏫 General Open House: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
This is a self-guided, drop-in event, so families are welcome to stop by during the designated times. During your visit, you can:
✅ Meet teachers and staff
✅ Visit classrooms
✅ Finalize transportation plans
✅ Add money to lunch accounts
✅ Get important back-to-school information
Kindergarten and TK families may attend any of the Open House sessions offered.

The College Park Elementary PTA is looking for a PTA President or Vice President to help lead and support our amazing school community!

We’re looking for someone willing to get involved, collaborate with a supportive team, and make a positive impact on our students and staff.

✨ Welcome to the Owl Family, Ms. Swineford! ✨

She is originally from Pennsylvania, and graduated from Bloomsburg University.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Swineford loves spending time outdoors. Whether she’s hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, boating, or enjoying a day at the beach, she’s always ready for an adventure! A lifelong athlete, she played both field hockey and lacrosse in high school and college and is now beginning her coaching journey. She’s also a huge country music fan!

She loves building meaningful relationships that help students feel supported, valued, and inspired.

“I am most excited to have a new group of teachers to work with and become friends with! I’m also so excited to be teaching a new curriculum and experience a whole new school district!”

🦉 Welcome to Our Newest Team Member, Ms. Delavigne! 🦉

She is originally from Wake Forest, but has also lived in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. She is a UNCW graduate 💛

Ms. Delavigne enjoys reading, crocheting, watching TV with her cat, and exploring fun restaurants with her fiancé.

This year, she is most excited about getting to know the staff and students and becoming part of our school community.

We are thrilled to have her as part of the Owl Family and can’t wait to see the positive impact she will make 💙💛

🦉 Welcome to the Owl Family, Ms. Diederich!

She recently moved here from Belleville, Wisconsin and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

She enjoys reading, painting, and paddleboarding. 🌊🎨📖

Ms. Diederich is most excited to build relationships with students and staff as she begins this new chapter in her educational journey. She is also looking forward to exploring her new communit!

We are excited to welcome Ms. Kollar to the College Park family this year! She recently moved to Wilmington from Cedar Point, NC. She is an East Carolina University graduate 💜💛

When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys shopping and spending quality time with her family.

Originally from Dunkirk, NY, she has also lived in Buffalo, NY and Leland. She earned attended Jamestown Community College and State University of New York at Fredonia.

When she’s not teaching, Ms. Sysol enjoys traveling, health and wellness, coffee, spending time at the beach, and loving on her dog, Moose. 🐾

She is most excited about meeting the Owl Crew, our students, and their families. We are thrilled to have her join our team and know she will make a wonderful impact on our school community.

Ms. Henry was born in Georgia and moved to Charlotte when she was 10 years old. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University 💛 and brings a passion for both learning and adventure! In her free time, she enjoys running and has completed an impressive three half marathons and one full marathon. She also loves reading, relaxing at the beach, and exploring new places through travel.
