π€ Strong schools are built on strong partnerships.
Today, Principal Little and the Laney admin team brought together representatives from the Laney Booster organizations (Athletic, Dance, Band, PTSA) for a collaborative meeting focused on one shared goal: supporting the success of every Laney student.
The meeting centered on strengthening the partnership between Laney High School and our booster organizations through clear communication, collaborative planning, and coordinated fundraising efforts. By working together, we can maximize our impact, support our programs, and continue providing outstanding opportunities for our students.
We are grateful for the countless hours our booster organizations and volunteers invest in Laney High School. Together, we are building an even brighter future for our students.
π Thank you to all of our booster organizations for your partnership and unwavering support. Go Bucs!

ππ For 50 years, Laney High School has been more than a building, it has been a place where memories were made, friendships were forged, and futures began.
As we prepare to celebrate our 50th anniversary, we're taking a look at a unique piece of Laney history. Throughout the years, many graduating classes left their mark by creating personalized senior tiles that still line our hallways today. While not every graduating class participated in this tradition, each tile serves as a reminder of the students who helped shape the legacy of Laney High School.
Every class has a story. Every graduate has a memory. Every Buccaneer is part of the Laney family.
Whether your class created a tile or not, we'd love to hear from you! Tell us your graduation year and share one of your favorite Laney memories in the comments. Let's celebrate the people, traditions, and moments that have made the last 50 years so special.
Here's to honoring our past while looking forward to the next 50 years.

As the sun rises each morning, Laney High School student-athletes are already hard at work. While most of the community is just starting the day, these dedicated young men and women are in the weight room, on the field, on the court, and wherever their sport demands, committed to improving their craft one workout at a time.
Summer workouts aren't easy. They require discipline, sacrifice, and the determination to do the extra work when no one is watching. That's the mindset that builds stronger athletes, stronger teammates, and stronger leaders.
Every Laney student-athlete, even those not pictured, who is putting in the work this summer deserves to be recognized. Your commitment to excellence makes us proud, and we can't wait to watch you compete this school year.
Keep showing up. Keep getting better.
Keep building the standard!!!
