Missing 2 Days = Missing 1 Week?
The Hidden Cost of Class Absences

Missing just two classes equates to losing an entire week of traditional instruction, putting students behind. Because secondary coursework builds fast toward college and career readiness, even brief gaps can derail future success. Partnering together all stakeholders: teachers, students and parents will grow our students into thriving young adults.

Good afternoon Families and students:

Road closure impacts bus routes

A road closure on Dove Field Drive will detour one or more bus routes, potentially causing delays starting Monday and lasting until further notice.

Why it matters: Families relying on these routes should prepare for possible delays/detours and stay informed about updates.

The big picture: The closure is due to storm damage that exposed a major pipe, necessitating extensive repairs expected to last at least a month.

What they're saying: We will provide more information as it becomes available soon.

The bottom line: Our district routing team is updating all affected routes, and notices are being sent through Chipmunk to families who may experience delays.

We are excited to see our Buccaneers tomorrow!
