2020 candidate for the Red Clay District School Board

Campaign might be over but the thanks will never stop. THIS video shows the spirit of Lillian Oliver and I’s campaign volunteers and supporters. Young, fresh, next level, and energetic! Thank you guys 💖

Here are the unofficial results!

While we did not win, I am beyond proud to know there are 1,103 people who believe that change can and will happen.

It was noticed by voters that during the polls the incumbent I ran against said that “There is enough diversity” in our district. And I will always enthusiastically say that there COULD NEVER and WILL NEVER be enough diversity!! The overwhelming amount of voters in this year’s race showed that.

Thank you to all 1,103 of you who took the time, energy, and courage to vote for change! God Bless 💖

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. The amount of kindness that I have received from everyone throughout this campaign was so overwhelming. I know I can say thank you a million times, but no words can truly encompass how much I appreciate each and every person who showed support. Whether it was voting or volunteering today, passing out flyers, lending advice, creating graphics, donating money, sending a positive message, or even saying a prayer, I am forever grateful for you. I have learned so much throughout this campaign about myself, the school district, and what it truly means to push to see change happen. The polls are in gods hands and regardless of the outcome, I could not be more pleased with every thing about the classy, intelligent, and genuine campaign that we ALL created together. Thank you thank you thank you 💙 -Grace Otley

“The more we increase the active participation and partnership with young people, the better we serve them.... And the more comprehensively we work with them as service partners, the more we increase our public value to the entire community.” — Carmen Martinez 🏫❤️📚

“It is without reservation that I would recommend Grace Otley to the RedClay School Board. Grace is a young woman of curiosity and curiosity is a quality that is the basis of someone who takes the time to research, understand and study the complexities of problems the district faces.

Grace is also a very disciplined person who understands hard work and meticulous attention to detail which was learned throughout her life as she became an accomplished musician. Her name fits her, she is gracious with the ability to communicate and listen well.

Most importantly, Grace is a woman of perspective beyond her years with impeccable integrity. She would be a stellar addition to the Red Clay School Board.” - Kathryn Hutt Keating

“It has been my pleasure to know and work with Grace Otley for over 7 years. She is a hard worker who is mature, intelligent, trustworthy, and dependable. Grace is also a very well-organized young woman who sets goals that she achieves.

As Miss Delaware’s Outstanding Teen 2014, she was not only a sought-after performer but also the recipient of the “Random Acts of Kindness Award” at the national competition. Red Clay will be in good hands if Grace is elected to a board position, where she can bring fresh, innovative ideas to serve the needs of the students in the district.”
