The Learning Center is hiring! We are looking for a Co-Lead teacher for our 2-year-old age group. For this position, the candidate would need an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or NC Early Childhood Credentials and be working towards an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education.

We are also hiring an assistant for our 3-year-old age group; this position requires at least North Carolina Early Childhood Credentials.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week and Happy Child Care Provider Day 2026 🥳!

This week we have been busy recognizing all of our teachers for the amazing work they do. We would like to thank all of our parents who provided tons of food for meals and items so that every teacher received a gift bag this week, without you all, this special event wouldn't be possible.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Ms. Constance from pOpshelf in Wilmington. She blessed us with her spirit and contagious positive attitude and gifted us many items to add to the gift bags as well. We truly appreciate you!

To our teachers: Today and this week, we celebrate each of you for being part of one of the most important professions in the world. Thank you for your dedication, compassion, nurturing spirit, and the love you show every child in your care each day.

Your commitment not only supports the growth and well-being of children, but also strengthens families and communities. Because of your hard work and support for one another, families can depend on safe, consistent, and high-quality care while they work to provide for their loved ones.

The Learning Center is in search of an Assistant Toddler Teacher. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with lead teachers to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for two year olds. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a love of learning, support developmental milestones, and promote positive social interactions among young children. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence early childhood development while ensuring each child's safety, well-being, and educational growth.

Preference will be given to those with experience and education in Early Childhood, particulary NC Early Childhood Credentials or higher. Pay rates depend on experienc and education.
