Meet Octavia Reed, Pulaski Early Education Center 's 2026-2027 Teacher of the Year!
Octavia Reed, has 3 years of teaching experience. At Christina School District, she creates a nurturing classroom environment where children feel supported and inspired.
A little fun fact: She is the third oldest in a family of 10, which helped inspire her dedication to teaching, leadership and compassion early on.

Students enjoyed a glow party with an obstacle course, stacking cups challenges, parachute games, and so many other activities that kept everyone moving and smiling. It was a day full of teamwork, energy, and celebration.

Today, we share our appreciation and best wishes with Tomas Perez as he steps into retirement.
Mr. Perez has been more than someone who cared for our building—he cared for the people in it. He always had a way of bringing a little joy into the day, whether through a quick conversation, a laugh, or sharing advice that stayed with you long after. Those moments that somehow felt like hours, even though they were only minutes, are the ones we’ll truly miss.
His consistent presence and the way he helped keep our building running day to day did not go unnoticed. In so many ways—often quietly and behind the scenes—he supported our school and contributed to the environment our students and staff rely on every day.
Thank you for your time, your presence, and the role you played in our Pulaski community, Tomas. You will truly be missed.
