My good friend and colleague, Dr. Katie Schlicting, is retiring this year from Watson College of Ed. Please join me in wishing her the best. Good Saturday morning! I’m sending out a request to all UNCW alumni who had Dr. Brad Walker in either/both the elementary undergrad or MAT program or the Language and Literacy Program. Maybe you also traveled with him to Japan! He is retiring this semester and his celebration at Watson is this Wednesday, April 17, at 4:00. (Incidentally, you’re invited!) This email is a request for favorite memories, quotes, assignments or projects from his classes or experiences. How did being I. A class with Dr. Walker impact your life and work? We are putting together a journal for him but hope to add student quotes and memories to personalize the project.
Please send to me either through email ([email protected]) or in Messenger.
Thank you ahead of time for your contribution. Just a few thoughts will help!
