NHCS Emerging Leaders continues to shine 💡
At March’s monthly meeting, we got to be in Wilmington’s most amazing listening room Live At Ted's. Whitney Harrison hosted us, sharing her journey as an educator, artist and entrepreneur. It was the perfect place for our theme of listening- we had genuine collaboration in our mastermind groups to encourage and challenge one another through our Pathway Projects.
Phase 3 of Emerging Leaders keeps inspiring as these teacher leaders are leveling up their impact of their Pathway Projects. Christy Clute Howe and Tara Adelizzi Mulvey are leading this work in powerful ways.

It was another great week with NHCS Emerging Leaders!
💡Special thanks to Dr. Jennifer Brubaker who kicked off our 2025 with “New Year, Same Me, New Mindset.” This was the perfect message for us to build our goals from a place of gratitude and abundance. (If you haven’t checked out her podcast, “Re-framing Me,” do it NOW)
💡 Andy Motley showed us the powerful tool of the Enneagram and how he is using it to help others unlock their full potential.
💡Emerald Boyd shared her brilliance with using Google Forms and Autocrat to transform instruction.
💡Pathway Partners and Emerging Leaders collaborated together to keep these amazing Pathway Projects moving forward.

What a fantastic day!

The Emerging Leaders were able to investigate classrooms to collaborate and discover teachers “what’s” and “whys” of teaching. Two of our Emerging Leaders were also able to share about their experience and learnings from NCCAT. New Hanover County Schools

Thank you so much Eugenia Floyd for coming to New Hanover County Schools and speaking with our Emerging Leaders. Today was all about exploring our “why” and focusing on our students! We are so fortunate to learn from you!

Thank you so much Asher for providing the Emerging Leaders with a healthy and nutritional lunch. It was great to learn about the different foods and ingredients and how they impact us.

Emerging leaders were able to complete a jigsaw and door dash to discuss and learn from each others experiences and procedures they use in their classroom and school

We are taking time this morning to journal about leadership and yesterdays experiences. We are so amazed with these individuals and their openness and honesty.
