We are excited to announce a new project in collaboration with Marta Toran from Appalachian State University focused on creating a more empathetic planet through environmental awareness and immersive learning experiences.
Thanks to grant funding, Williston has new 3D headsets that will allow students to explore and create powerful 360° video experiences. Beginning next school year, students will develop their own immersive videos to study and share the impact of raising environmental awareness in meaningful and engaging ways.
This innovative opportunity was brought to Williston courtesy of AIG Lead and Administrative Intern Mr. Matthew Sullivan, whose vision and leadership helped make this project possible.
We look forward to seeing our students use creativity, technology, and empathy to make a difference in the world!

We are incredibly grateful to the 100 Black Men of Coastal NC for the time, encouragement, and support you’ve shown our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students this school year.
Your presence has made a real difference—through mentorship, positive role modeling, and your commitment to helping our students grow both academically and personally. The impact you’ve had will continue far beyond the classroom.
Thank you for investing in our students and in our future. We truly appreciate all that you do! 💙

Proud of these young men! Kenny and Chris Braxton, sons of Carlos and Sharon Braxton. They are athletes, good students and well-rounded young men. And they are recipients of scholarships from 100 Black Men of Coastal Carolina. They are ECU bound this Fall and while their parents are feeling the empty nest already, a proud Wilmington wishes them well!!

We are so grateful to all of our amazing students and families who came out on Saturday to support our soccer tournament! ⚽️
Your energy, teamwork, and generosity made the event a huge success. Because of you, we were able to raise funds to support our school soccer team—helping provide equipment, opportunities, and experiences for our players.
Thank you for showing such strong school spirit and community pride. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💙💛
