Mini Monets

Elementary and Middle school artists made their own reflective ponds by learning to use a roller to create a slab base, their hands to roll coils, and finally adding colors with stones. 🌈🖍️📝

Day 3 is for making a baguette of the characters in three dimensions and beginning layouts for stop motion.

Day 2. Character Model Sheets.

The first day of our illustrators and animation camp is off to a great start. We had two twos to illustrate hey di**le di**le and want to start working on a comic book cover.

Radial collage to mimic the radial floral patterns found on Achaemenid bowls and plates.

Illustration and Animation Camp starts Monday and there is still time to sign up at [email protected]. We will cover concept art, layouts and color theory, character design, and work on final illustrations or traditional animation to round out the week.

Griffins and Bulls adorn the tops of Achaemenid Columns. These K-5 artists used an oil pastel transfer technique and finished their art with watercolors.

This is the neatest I will be all week for the FBC Art Camp.
