☀️ SUN Meals To-Go Starts Tomorrow! ☀️ The first SUN Meals To-Go distribution of the summer is Thursday, June 18!

Registered families can pick up their meal packs from 12:00 PM–7:00 PM at:
📍 Holly Shelter Middle School
3921 Roger Haynes Drive

🚗 Please remain in your vehicle throughout the distribution process.
📝 Have your family number available to verify registration.
☔ Distribution will take place rain or shine.
🗺️ Be sure to review the map included in this post before arriving.

Meal pack distribution will continue every Thursday through August 6, 2026.

We were so glad our former sharks had some familiar faces to see when they stepped back onto their old stomping grounds for the annual Senior Walk last month! A lot has changed in 7 years! From line leaders to high school graduates! The tassel was definitely worth the hassle. We always knew you would do amazing things and we can’t wait to see what you do next! We are so proud to see that all your hard work paid off as you walk across that stage and graduate this weekend! Congratulations!

𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆! We loved seeing everyone turnout at our last Title 1 Night: Healthy Me. Thank you to Coach Tyson and the Home & School Committee for organizing this event. We had various stations that included learning about food & nutrition, creating a DIY sensory bottles station, yoga, test taking strategies & affirmations and more! To all the community partners that were available to come out and provide our families with beneficial resources & additional support to make the night a success, many thanks!!

📢𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨! to our students and their coaches that participated in the Girls on the Run and STRIDE program this year! Girls on the Run and STRIDE are life-changing, interactive learning programs that use the power of running to inspire pre-teen girls and boys for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy lifestyles. Through activities such as running, playing games, and discussing important issues the program encourages positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development. Our coaches guided and mentored them through fun and uplifting curriculum while training together to walk or run a 5K event. Their 5k race was this past Saturday, May 16 and we're so proud of them for crossing that finish line! Thanks to everyone that came out to support our sharks!🏃‍♀️🏁🏃‍♂️

End of Grade Testing is upon us and it is time for our students to show what they know! Help make sure your child(ren) are present and ready to do their very best in this last stretch!

NC Extend 1 Testing - Monday, May 18 & Tuesday, May 19
3- 5 EOG Testing Window - May 22 - June 5
Reading EOG - 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟐
Math EOG - 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟳
Science EOG - 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟴 (Grade 5 ONLY)

Make-up & Re-testing days will be determined on an as-needed basis
