Shout out to Jave'on Thompson on the Wake Forrest delegation. Yesterday he was feeling anxious about his first time presenting and today he left feeling confident and ready to present again! Great job Jave'on! R-O-C-K you rock, you rock.

Here's a lovely message from our Philanthropy Chair, Fallon Scott:

"My name is Fallon Scott and I am the Philanthropy Chair for NCARH 2017. I wanted to reach out to all of you to remind you about the philanthropy opportunities that are happening this year for the NCARH Conference. There are two ways to participate in philanthropy: One, delegation community service project and Two, collecting Box Tops!

You can start submitting your community service projects today. The delegation can choose any volunteer opportunity. Some examples can include: volunteering at a nursing home, can food drive, collecting trash around campus, or serving food at a homeless shelter. A picture will need to be taken and sent to [email protected] to be eligible for spirit points. A short explanation about what your delegation did and a record of the time spent needs to be sent in as well. 100 spirit points will be awarded for every qualifying hour. The best project will be determined by the NCARH 2017 staff and awarded 500 spirit points.

Each Box Top will be worth 10 spirit points so start collecting them now. Attached to this email is a pdf with a Box Top collection list which shows you what products have Box Tops. Attached is a collection list of items that typically have Box Tops on them. We will be donating the box tops to the school "D.C. Virgo" which is a Title I Middle School here in Wilmington, NC.
