On Saturday we celebrated Ms. Roache, Ms. Corbin, Mr. Cuffy, Ms. Cooper, Mr. Hardwick, Dr. Sherrod, and Mrs. Tos at the 4th Dimension’s Equity Practitioner Program (EPP) Closing Ceremony. P.S. 8th grade Italian students had the opportunity to take a pizza-making workshop at La Pizzeria Metro. Starting with a presentation on the recipe for neopolitan pizza dough, they learned to create a crush and use the techniques incorporated by a traditional pizza chef to make their own pies. Students then chose toppings and sent their food off to the oven before enjoying a delicious lunch. The trip concluded with a tour of the Italian market where students had the opportunity to sample products imported from Italy, including snacks and desserts. It was, as our Italian students would say, molto delizioso!
