Know Before You Go...

Here’s what families need to know about morning arrival and drop-off:

🚗 TWO CAR RIDER LINES
• Line 1 opens at 7:00 AM.
• Line 2 opens once the last bus unloads.

Having two lines helps keep traffic moving smoothly!

➡️ PULL FORWARD
Move all the way forward in the car rider line to keep traffic moving and help our staff safely unload students.

🛑 SAFETY FIRST
Please follow all staff directions and remain in the designated drop-off lane.

⏰ BE ON TIME
Students may begin entering the building at 7:15 AM.
The tardy bell rings at 7:40 AM.
After 7:40 AM, parents must sign their child in at the main office.

🎒 KINDERGARTEN FAMILIES
Parents of Kindergarten students may walk their child to class during the first week of school.

🚶‍♀️🚲 WALKERS & BIKERS
Only walkers and bikers may enter through the back entrance.

Bike/Walker placards will be issued during the first two weeks of school. After that, all parents picking up in the back of the building must have a placard.

🚗 ALL CAR RIDERS
All car riders must come through the designated car rider line. Please do not drop off car riders at the back entrance.

🚗 **ONE CAR RIDER LINE**
All car riders must be picked up through the designated car rider line. Please do not attempt to pick up car riders through the back entrance.

➡️ **PULL FORWARD**
Move all the way forward to the designated car rider position #. This helps us keep the line moving efficiently and safely.

🛑 **SAFETY FIRST**
Please follow staff directions, remain in your designated lane, and stay alert during dismissal.

⏰ **DISMISSAL TIMES**
• Car rider dismissal begins shortly after **2:35 PM**.
• **All students should be dismissed by 3:00 PM.**
Please plan accordingly and arrive on time for pickup.

At Holly Tree Elementary, we know that great intentions only become great results when we execute what matters most.

This year, we are putting the 4 Disciplines of Ex*****on (4DX) into action by identifying our Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) and focusing our collective energy on the work that will make the greatest difference for our students.

📚 Our Reading WIG: Increase reading proficiency from 70% to 75% by the Spring 2027 EOG.

➕ Our Math WIG: Increase math proficiency from 80% to 85% by the Spring 2027 EOG.

But our WIGs are about more than numbers. They represent a commitment to focus, consistency, teamwork, and purposeful action. Every classroom, every teacher, and every student has a role to play in moving these goals forward.

We will track our progress, celebrate our wins, learn from our challenges, and keep our eyes on what matters most.

When the bell rings, the learning begins!

Being present and on time matters. Every minute of the school day is an opportunity to learn, grow, connect, and succeed. At Holly Tree, we work hard to maximize every minute of instructional time, and we ask our families to help us protect that time by making every effort to schedule appointments after school whenever possible.

Please take a moment to review our bell schedule and plan ahead. And remember, all dismissal changes must be reported to the main office by 1:00 each day so we can make sure dismissal is safe and smooth for everyone.
