The end of summer: a harvest
I’ve been working on removing most of summer veggies from the garden like the tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, and beans—earlier than I normally do. I’m ready for the season to be over. But, I might plant some lettuce….

I found a new must-grow tomato this year:
Apricot Zebra 🧡
Green Zebra has always been one of my favorites. So, naturally I wanted to try an orange version.
As you can see, the Apricot Zebra tomatoes are a smaller, golf ball size. They were also ripe much earlier and have been plenty productive.
But omg the flavor is so good… one of the best I’ve tried 🤤

This tomato is trying hard to win the #1 spot on my list:
Ananas Noire 🍅
Don’t ask me why it’s also known as Black Pineapple, but this variety consistently puts out ~1 pounders. And the marbled color + perfect flavor is 🔥

I fell asleep last night before I could post this for 🍅 but I had my first tomato sandwich yesterday.
Cherokee Purple is always the first of the big tomatoes to ripen. It’s also in my top 3 for flavor.
