Dyslexia is one of the most common learning differences, and it has nothing to do with intelligence or effort. Children and adults with dyslexia are often creative, curious, big-picture thinkers. What they need is the right kind of instruction: explicit, systematic, and multisensory.

The good news? With targeted intervention, people with dyslexia can and do become confident, capable readers. We see it happen every day here on the North Shore.

This month, the International Dyslexia Association is sharing personal stories, new fact sheets, and resources for families and educators around the world. Take a look and pass it along. Awareness is where support begins. 👇

Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off September 15 — and what better way to celebrate than with a great book? 📚
