The Actors Training Center has been serving the greater Chicagoland area since 2007. We are the proud recipients of the Illinois Theatre Association’s 2019 Award of Honor. ATC has been a launching pad for many actors currently working in film, television and stage.​

Interested in acting? Filmmaking? Writing? Maybe a little bit of everything?

ATC x Wayfarer Film Academy gives curious, creative teens the chance to explore the filmmaking process alongside industry professionals.

Leading the program are two-time National Emmy-nominated producer and director Scott Dummler and working actor and ATC On-Camera Division Head Carmella Riley, whose credits include Modern Family, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and more.

Students will learn from both sides of the camera as they develop original stories and collaborate as a real cast and crew.
