Just because you’re playing blues doesn’t mean you have it!

Guitar student Jordan has been consistently putting in work and leveling up his skills. He’s attended many of my gigs, always helping with equipment breakdown at the end of the night. He’s also been a regular at the open mics I’ve hosted at Legend’s Lounge, taking lesson material and applying it in real-world live settings. He’s a great student and a great friend as well.

Grateful to be working with him and all of my students as we head into the new year. Here’s to continued growth through live playing, recording, and jamming with friends, just like Jordan and I did after today’s lesson.

Santa hit me up the other day and asked me to help set up this drum kit for my godson, Ethan. How could I say no?!

Looking forward to sharing some musical knowledge with him as he learns his way around the kit!

Piano student Ray continues to make strong progress in his sight-reading skills while steadily expanding his repertoire. He has learned a diverse selection of pieces, ranging from music from the video game Kirby to the iconic theme from the horror classic Halloween. Keep going brother! 🙌🏻
