After 38 years, Conev’s Cradle Infantcare of Willowbrook closed its doors.
The 550sf playroom is overflowing with excellent equipment (nothing but top quality), lots of great toys (proven solid and well made), teaching aids (lotsa smart kids tested) and so much more!

There are kitchen countertop appliances.

Camping gear.

Quite a few hard to find mechanical type things…

The pitter patter of little feet and promises of adventures at Conev’s Cradle Infantcare of Willowbrook.

Since 1983, today one of the longest running state licensed family child care homes in DuPage County. Maybe even in Illinois.

Infant/toddler care, whole day full/part time. I am flexible, understanding and kind.

From first spoonfood on, up to five hearty homemade meals a day- made right here in my kitchen. My signature whole grain breads (I mill many of my own flours), waffles, pancakes, dumplings, spaetzle....

Hand selected restaurant quality meats ground and cut down by hand. No mystery meats!

Our home is quietly nestled on 2.5 private landlocked acres. Grassy, shady, fresh play yard with butterflies, dandelions, pine cones and many gifts from Mother Nature.

Someone you know needs childcare!!

A very fun snack for your excited kids! And they made cauliflower pancakes disappear right quick, too!

As for me, today I am 5 years post breast cancer radiation! I burned (a copy) of the horrid 38 day sentence. A ritual to remind that I DID IT!!

As tough as I am brave and determined, I am also a most flexible, understanding and warm family childcare provider.

This tomato rice soup brought such a great response, I want to share the recipe with you!

Tomato rice soup
1 46 oz can tomato juice
1 qt chicken stock
1 c rice
In a tea ball:
4 bay leaves
10 black pepper corns
10 allspice berries
10 cloves
Crush a bit

Simmer all together in a nice big pot, until rice is done.

Remove tea ball.

Add 1/2c sugar, salt to taste, lemon juice to taste.

Make a roux from 4 tbs butter and four tbs all purpose flour. Whisk into soup. You may not need it all....

I served with my signature homemade yeast butter rolls!

Exposed!!!! Secrets to perfectly made Czech breaded pork tenderloin.

Pork tenderloin is the ideal choice for these classic Czech heirloom breaded treats.

Clean it if silver skin and extra fat. I cut off the tail and uneven rounded end. Save in a freezer container. When it is full, make a nice pork tenderloin gulas, or a quick fry with vegetables!

Butter fly your tenderloins to
Make palm sized portions. Season with salt a plenty FRESH GROUND black pepper. Tenderize with a mallot to even them out and help the S&P to adhere. Now place on platter and refrigerate overnight- uncovered- to allow some dehydration.

Next day, prepare your breading station:
Container 1: seasoned all purpose flour
Container 2: eggs with just a kiss of water, seasoned to taste with s& FRESH GROUND black pepper.
Container 3: bread crumbs. I use mine from my signature homemade breads. Use store bought, no problem!!

Dip in flour, eggs then bread crumbs. Let rest on a rack about 15 minutes. I heat up my deep fryer...

You can pan fry or air fry.

When they are golden brown, remove to cooling rack and immediately season with salt & FRESH GROUND black pepper to taste. And....

Here it comes!!

Using a trigger shooter, spray liberally with fresh lemon juice!!!!
