Day 1 post-surgery!

I'm doing much better today. I was able to actually walk around (albeit with a Walker) an hour ago. Still taking two people to get me in and out of bed, but it’s progress!

Even tho I'm in pain from the surgery, the shooting pain down my legs is finally gone. I can't tell you how relieving that feels.

I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who has been here for me and helped make this whole experience, not only bearable, but joyful ❤️

Epic day yesterday, promoting our choirs! Huge credit to my amazing helpers for all of their help. I couldnt have done it without you.
Also a huge thank you to my friend for the idea of getting a plinko board. I couldn’t tell if it was the kids or the parents who enjoyed winning our prizes the most 😉

I haven’t posted in so long. Kept thinking it had to be “perfect” first. Only God is perfect though. So here’s me getting back on Facebook with a pledge to all of you to be more present.

Lots of big feelings tonight with all of the holiday crazies finally coming to a close. After my sister helped me tidy and loved me while I cried, I pulled out my banjo. Then I wrapped myself in my new scarf and weighted blanket (gifts, thx to dear friends) & played Christmas songs.

Music… Best. Therapy. Ever.

Soon as Facebook finishes uploading my videos, I’ll post them over the next couple of days.
Merry Christmas everyone and may your Silent Night be spent in wonder and awe at this incredible gift of hope that Christ’s birth gave us.
