Explore the care, evaluation, and treatment of production animals like cattle, poultry, goats, and more. 🐮🐐 You’ll also work with field experts through job shadowing, clinical experience, and FFA membership.

Join our team! Our Health Sciences Campus is hiring two full-time evening Practical Nursing instructors to lead our post-secondary students. 🩺🤩

We’re looking for engaging educators with their BSN and RN licenses, with a minimum background of 2 years of related nursing experience. Applicants with an additional 3-5 years of clinical experience and with experience in Medical Surgical Nursing are preferred.

🌟 Evening instructors work weekday evenings, Monday through Thursday, with instructional days lasting 1:50 PM to 9:30 PM and clinical days lasting 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The position’s salary ranges from $64,362 to $86,936, commensurate with experience and credits beyond degrees.

The array was purchased through one of our Foundation’s Teacher Innovation Grants awarded last year, thanks to a grant from PPL. Mr. Derek Mast, the solar service manager at MVE, helped to install the array at our Brownstown Campus alongside Mr. Brian Myers, our Electrical Construction Technology instructor, and his students. ☀️

Our adult Automotive Technology students are gaining real transferrable skills this summer. This month, they are training with our adult Welding Technology instructors at Willow Street! ✨ Students are learning oxyfuel cutting, gas metal arch welding, flux core arc welding, and how to make T-joints. In the automotive industry, they will be better prepared to make rust and general repairs to exhausts, frames, and body and door panels! 🔥🚙

In late June, these students completed their studies, earning their certificates and a number of awards. Special thanks to the Lancaster County Career and Technology Foundation for awarding several Workforce Grants, and to our industry partners for awarding toolkits to kickstart our students’ welding industry careers!

Our FFA chapter offered a strong showing at this year’s Pennsylvania FFA State Competition in State College! 🐮🤠

Madison Wenger placed fifth of 156 participants in her individual Veterinary Science CDE and Nathan Moore placed 30th of 134 participants in his individual Livestock Evaluation CDE. Raygan Pacacha participated in long committee meetings as a state delegate, to make decisions about the future of FFA. Kylee Hlavaty represented our chapter as a state officer candidate and endured an intense interview process, one of 25 who competed for seven state officer positions! While Kylee was not selected as a state officer, she represented our school well.

Congratulations to all! 🥳
