We are so proud of our alumna, Melaina Wilson, for excelling in the pursuit of her dreams! During high school, Melaina placed 5th in the state in the Veterinary Science contest, and it is an honor to watch her grow and become an influential member of the community. We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and can’t wait to see what her future holds!

Yesterday, Willow Springs was proud to host the Area 13 Chapter Officer Training, and we had a fantastic day!

Katy and the Area Officer Team did an outstanding job teaching chapter officers how to lead their chapters and better connect with their members. After the training, we visited Poor Farms Cattle, where Jason and Jenny Poor showcased innovative technologies being used in today's beef industry.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success! We appreciate everyone who attended and can't wait to see these officers put their leadership skills into action this year.

On Monday and Tuesday, we facilitated an Ag Power 1 Small Engine workshop for educators statewide. This event provided an excellent opportunity to instruct fellow teachers, enabling them to educate the next generation of engine repair technicians at their own schools.

The Heart of the Ozarks Fair Market Show and Sale is less than a month away. Please make sure to MAIL Entries this week to ensure they are received on time for penning. Weigh-in and sale fees are not the same as the fees for entering the fair to show. The entry form can be found at https://heartoftheozarksfair.net/

Looking for someone to take the pictures on Monday, upload to Walgreens, and prepare them for the Auction on Tuesday. Would be good hours for an Ag Communication proficiency; contact Tonya Jedlicka if interested.

State Fair market hog DNA must be mailed this week. Goats and sheep are June 15. Contact your FFA Advisor or 4H leader to help with DNA.
