🎉 A Huge Congratulations to Our Amazing Teachers! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that The Academy in Willow Park has earned a 4-Star Rating with Texas Rising Star Accreditation — the highest level of quality recognition for early childhood programs in Texas! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This incredible accomplishment is the result of our teachers’ dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence. Over several days, our program went through a detailed evaluation and observation process assessing:
Quality of teacher-child interactions and instructional techniques
Classroom environments and learning materials
Curriculum planning and implementation
Family engagement and communication
Program administration and overall school operations

Our teachers worked tirelessly to prepare, participate, and shine during this process — and they did just that! 💪

🎉 Congratulations, Ms. Sierra! 🎉

We are so proud to celebrate Ms. Sierra for completing her Primary Montessori Teaching Certification through Collin College! 👏

Over the last two years, she has completed more than 120 hours of classroom instruction, passed both written and oral exams, and dedicated over 600 hours to hands-on classroom teaching. 🌟

This incredible achievement reflects her dedication, passion, and commitment to Montessori education and to the children she serves every day. We are so thankful to have such a devoted and inspiring teacher as part of our team at The Academy in Willow Park. 💛

✨ This week, our little learners took center stage for Show & Tell — and what a joyful, enriching experience it was!

Each child had the chance to share something special with their classmates — from favorite toys to treasured books and nature finds. While it may look simple, standing up and speaking in front of friends takes courage, confidence, and connection — and our children rose to the occasion beautifully!

Show & Tell isn't just fun (though we had plenty of giggles and smiles!) — it's also a powerful way to build communication skills, self-esteem, and a sense of belonging in the classroom community.

We’re so proud of our students and grateful to witness these important “small moments” that help shape big growth.

Our Curriculum Night for our families at The Academy in Willow Park Montessori was a huge success — and it’s all thanks to YOU!

It was wonderful to see everyone connecting with our dedicated teachers, exploring the curriculum, learning about our mission, and discovering the incredible enrichment programs we offer.

We’re so excited to kick off the 2025–2026 school year! This week has been full of joyful energy, peaceful routines, and the wonderful sound of children exploring, creating, and learning through hands-on discovery.

Our Montessori-inspired classrooms—guided by our caring, Montessori-certified teachers—are already buzzing with curiosity and confidence as we ease back into our school-year rhythm. It’s been a beautiful start, and we can’t wait to see all the growth, wonder, and connection the year ahead will bring. 💛

Big growth happens in small hands.

In our Primary community (ages 3–5), children explore math, language, science, and art through hands-on materials that spark curiosity and joy. Mixed-age classrooms encourage younger students to learn from older role models, while older students strengthen their skills by guiding and helping others.

It’s more than early academics—it’s the foundation for confidence, leadership, and a lifelong love of learning.
