It has been providing excellence in Traditional martial arts instruction and self-defense training to men, women, children and families at it's current location in Wickliffe, Ohio since 1985. Hotchkiss continues the educational process and training at the Kang Do Won. The martial art, 'Kang Do', as taught at the Kang Do Won (Kang Do Won translated means... "School of Inner Strength"), transforms a

verage people into the extraordinary. This transformation occurs because the educational focus is on positive personal growth, healthy character development and behavioral modification. The self-defense skills that Kang Do Won students acquire as a result of their training are only effective with the necessary 'inner strength' (heart) required to implement them. Self-defense starts with self-confidence.
