Grant Elementary PTO

Grant Elementary PTO Be the kind kid. Grant PTO receives no financial support from the board of education and we are strictly volunteers. We have 6 elected board officials.

The board is responsible for handling money, organizing events, and recording and keeping track of it all. We ensure field trips for all students, arrange assemblies, have family fun night get togethers, host clubs and provide needed supplies and equipment not covered by grants or levies. We encourage a positive atmosphere for all students and happy and healthy relationship between teachers and parents. All community members are welcome to join us. We hold monthly meetings in the school.

Welcome to the Grant Elementary Family! 🍎

Calling all future kindergarteners and families - the big moment is almost here! We can’t wait to welcome our newest students for a fun-filled, informative Kindergarten Kickoff before the school year begins!

Event Details—
When: Tuesday, August 11, 2026

Where: Grant Elementary School (2838 Lost Nation Road, Willoughby, OH 44094)

Staggered Arrival Times (by last name):
A – I: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
J – R: 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM
S – Z: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

What to Expect:
For Students: Tour the building, explore the school, and let teachers get to know your child’s unique abilities!

For Parents: Meet the principal for an orientation presentation, complete essential school forms, and get all your questions answered to make the transition smooth and stress-free.

What’s Next?
Friday, August 14th: Keep an eye on your inbox! You will receive an email revealing your child’s kindergarten teacher, along with a link to sign up for your appointment time and staggered start date.

School is out for summer but we are hard at work planning for the 26-27 school year! Our annual Rebel Run will be on Thursday, October 8 and we are looking for local businesses to support and sponsor our students and school!

🛝 OUR GOAL is to build on last year’s efforts to upgrade our playground equipment. We are about half way there!!
