Willo-Hill Christian School had another CRAZY - SUPER - FUN Field Day last week!!! Activities included: Potato Sack Races * Water Balloon Toss * Obstacle Course * Balloon Stomp * Car Wash Relay * Tug of War * Face Painting * Chalk Drawing

Our "Girls Who STEM" Club did a FANTASTIC job presenting and then demonstrating their science projects at the Science Fair last week!
We are so proud of them!!! Way to go girls!!

Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week ~ and the WHCS Staff was truly blessed above and beyond!!!

To all of our Patriot Parents ~ THANK YOU for giving of your time & talents, as well as monetary donations, to make last week SO SPECIAL for the Staff! We are grateful for all of the delicious food, yummy treats and special gifts!

On Tuesday evening our 6th Graders had the opportunity to do a community outreach service project with The Family Resource Center (Painesville City Local Schools)! The Students dropped-off the school uniforms and toiletries that were donated during WHCS Spirit Week! They also had the privilege to help serve dinner to the families...and try different kinds of food!!!
Thank you Mrs. Amber Torres Gonzalez (the center's Director) for allowing our Students to visit, help out and learn about the various services the center provides as well as the needs of the community.

What a FUN SPIRIT WEEK we had last week!!! It was great seeing the students participate in the daily CRAZY dress-up themes!

All of the donations have been SORTED, COUNTED and BOXED & BAGGED and are now ready to be dropped off!

Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you for all of your very generous donations! WHCS Families and Staff have truly shown the love of Christ by the enormous amount of items donated! (Matthew 25:35-36)

We, as believers in Christ, are called to put our faith into practice and truly love our neighbors, especially those less fortunate. God has given each of us unique talents and gifts to serve others, that in turn will glorify Christ. Each of us has something to offer to someone in need. We can give our money and our time to charity, be a friend to someone who is sick or lonely, do volunteer work, or be a peacemaker.

Saturday, May 18, 2019 * 5:30 p.m. * WHCS Gymnasium

As you may know Willo-Hill Christian School will be closing at the end of this school year. For almost 50 years, WHCS has faithfully served the community providing a quality education based upon God’s truth. So this event will be a very special evening honoring the ministry of the school and acknowledging the dedicated teachers and staff.

Cost is $12.00 per person (covers cost of the meal).

Please RSVP by calling the Church Office at 440.951.2020 ~ deadline is Tuesday, May 14th.

During this event you will have the opportunity to make a monetary donation to the Worthy Servants Fund which will be used to bless the staff.

Day #5 of Spirit Week! ! ! ! !
Today was Dynamic Duo (or Trio!) Day!!!
Students teamed up with another Student or 2 and created costumes of things that go together!
The items collected today were Hershey Bars, Oreo Cookies, toothpaste, golf pencils and cap erasers. These items will go to The Way Out Prison Ministry...gifts of love to give to those in prison. (Matt. 25:36)

Day #4 of Spirit Week! ! ! ! !
Today was WEIRD DAY...wear clothes backwards, inside out, clash colors, etc!!!
The items collected (toys, toys, and more toys!!!) are for Maryssa's Mission Foundation...tokens of love to give to the sick. (Matt. 25:36)
