North, South, and individual middle schools aren't the only things at stake with Issue 8. So are facilities maintenance and upgrades. Issue 8 provides a more stable funding path for our schools. Channel 43/19 helps break it down:

Saturday morning sightings on the internet: Check out this W-E parent fan art (yes, its AI, but it's still great)!
Issue 8 will have deep implications for our student athletes if it fails. If W-E were to consolidate, we would be a Division 1 school. Half of the kids that currently participate in athletics would likely get shut out, based on pure numbers. While schools are about academics first, athletics also play a huge part in our students development - work ethic, ability to persevere, and leadership, just to name a few. For some students, athletics is their biggest motivational factor to show up to class every day, maintain grades, while keeping them busy and out of trouble. Not to mention many utilize athletics to achieve athletic scholarship opportunities for higher education after they graduate.
These are the intangibles that can't be quantified financially.
Support academics. Support student athletes. Vote
