SPRING SPORTS SENIOR NIGHT

Join us this coming Wednesday 5/13 as we honor our baseball, track, and flag football seniors for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to our school and athletic programs throughout the years.

Baseball will face Richmond Heights at 4:30 pm and Senior athletes will be announced alongside their parents following the game at approximately 6:30 PM, with light refreshments to follow. We are also hoping for an Alumni Baseball Scrimmage to take place following the Senior Celebration at 7:00 pm. If you're a baseball CCA Alumni and wish to participate please reachout!

We invite all students, families, alumni, and supporters to be part of this special evening as we recognize these outstanding student-athletes and celebrate the impact they’ve made on our community.

CALLING ALL ALUMNI!

Join us for our Alumni Basketball Game coming up on Saturday 12/20 at 7:15 pm.

Join us for a fun evening spent together with fellow alumni, CCA staff, and current students. We will have gift card giveaways for alumni and plenty of fun!

Boys Varsity Basketball faces off against Chardon High School at 6:00 pm and the Alumni Game will start at the conclusion of that contest.

BREAKING NEWS: CCA To Offer High School Girls Flag Football this Spring

Sponsored by the Cleveland Browns and NEO Flag, CCA joins the rank of nearly 100 girls flag football teams in NEO. The sport has grown rapidly in the last 5 years as Girls across the state make their case for the sport to be officially sponsored by the OHSAA.

CCA’s program will be lead by High School Principal Anthony Roberts, a former letter-winner football player himself at Berea Midpark High School.

“We are so excited about the possibility and opportunity of beginning a new sport at CCA.” Mr. Roberts said.

“Girls Flag Football gives us a chance to give our high school girls a sport to play during the Spring season, and a brand new sport at that! The sport is growing all across the state and features a fun 5 vs 5 format, focusing on the speed, technique, and mental aspect of the game. We are looking forward to this new chapter in CCA Athletics.”

“We’re very excited to provide something fun and new for our girls, we’ve been looking for a spring sport alternative to provide for Girls and Flag Football has come at just the right time.” Athletic Director Tim O’Leary said. “We’re thankful for the Cleveland Browns for sponsoring Flag Football and can’t wait to get started.”

Girls Flag Football operates as a “Club” Sport, with the regular season running from March 20 - May 3 and the playoffs commencing after the regular season. Stay tuned for more news on Girls Flag Football at CCA.
