📣Lifeline will be at the Family Resource Center of Wickliffe tomorrow!

Western Lake County residents can now apply for HEAP/PIPP every second and fourth Tuesday of the month between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Reentry, Car Repair, and Security Deposit program assistance is available by appointment only.

This week, we received some wonderful donations that we wanted to take a moment to highlight and celebrate!

A huge thank you to:
- Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce for their generous monetary donation!
- The kind soul who dropped off lots of pasta, pasta sauce, mac & cheese, and cereal for our food pantry at the Wickliffe Library. We appreciate you so much!
- Donna H. for her unwavering support of the FRC. Every two weeks, she brings a truck full of food, toiletries, household items, and so much more! ❤️
- Barbara G. for her generous monetary donation.
- Lubrizol and Michelle G. for their employee donation and company match!
- All of the amazing families who have dropped off clothing and other much-needed items this week.

Your generosity and kindness truly keep the FRC and our WicKloset program running. Because of your support, I was able to go to Dollar Tree last weekend and purchase nearly $200 worth of toiletry items so our students can start the school year with dignity and confidence.

We are working every day to make sure our students and classrooms have the items they need to be successful. Every donation—big or small—makes a difference.

TODAY AT 10AM AT MENTOR HIGH SCHOOL

Today is a Food Market day at Mentor High School. Thank you to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and the help of our amazing volunteers, we have thousands of pounds of produce to give to anyone in need. It begins at 10 and goes until the food runs out. More details here:

The FRC will close today 8/17 at 3pm so Miss Katelynn can attend the Lower School Supply Drop Off from 3-5pm.

Donations can be dropped off during our open hours or at the Wickliffe Public Library during their normal hours. Do not, under any circumstances, leave items outside the Family Resource Center if the doors are locked.

Our next Family Fun Night is our 2nd Annual Mascot Mania Meet and Greet. Come take photos and meet your favorite characters. We welcome back our community partner Pop Culture Friends as they provide all the fun with their all volunteer cosplay crew! Free Family Friendly event! We will also be collecting new and gently used costume donations to benefit the Wickliffe Family Resource Center.

Lots of fresh basil 🌿 and green peppers 🫑 from our little garden!

🥦 Broccoli and broccoli greens

All produce is grown in our raised beds in the north side of the school in our compost soil. No pesticides are used.

I'd love for this all to be gone before the weekend ❤️
